This is a very beautiful, very heavy, and very tall room divider. The simple latticework design and two-tone finish add significant elegance to this room divider. The many carved crevices allow light and airflow to penetrate the screen while providing privacy from casual view. Because of its great weight a casual bump will not knock this screen over. The screen is carved of shirsham hardwood and stained with two rich tones of brown. There is a slightly waxy coating to give a little protection against moisture. This screen is made of four panels, each measuring 20 inches wide for a total width of 80 inches or 6 2/3 feet and measures 6 feet tall at the highest point. There may be some slight variation due to these being hand carved items.
